Supported Housing

Modular Homes

On the front of the church grounds there are 6 innovative and the first of its kind prototype modular home. They were designed and installed by Allia Future Homes to provide affordable supported living for those experiencing homelessness. The residents in the homes are supported by Jimmy’s Cambridge, to transition from the streets into their own home.

Loving the people of Barnwell

The people living in the modular homes have excellent personalised support by Jimmy’s and have regular contact with people from the church. The homes have had residents since June 2020. Since the showcasing of these pods, there are multiple organisations and sites looking to replicate the initiative across the city and the UK.
